Ingredients:
For the Salad:
– 1 cup boiled chana
– 1 small onion, finely chopped
– 1 small cucumber, finely chopped
– 1 small carrot, finely chopped
– 1 tomato, finely chopped
– 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
– 2 tbsp raw mango, finely chopped
– 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped
– 1 tbsp pudina (mint) leaves, chopped
For the Flavor:
– 1 tbsp imli (tamarind) chutney
– 1 tbsp green chutney
– ½ tsp salt (adjust as per taste)
– ½ tsp chaat masala
Method:
1. Prepare the Base:
– Take boiled chana in a mixing bowl. Make sure they are cooled down properly.
2. Add Freshness:
– Add finely chopped onion, cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, pomegranate, and raw mango.
– Mix in chopped coriander and mint leaves for a refreshing flavor.
3. Add the Chatpata Twist:
– Pour imli chutney and green chutney over the salad.
– Sprinkle salt and chaat masala as per taste.
4. Mix & Serve:
– Toss everything well so that the chutneys coat all the ingredients properly.
– Serve fresh and enjoy this chatpata, nutritious chana salad!
