Dal Khichdi

👉Add 1 cup of rice and 1/2 cup of moong dal into a bowl, wash and soak for about 30 minutes.
👉Add 2 tbsp of oil into a pressure cooker and heat it.
👉Add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds and a pinch of hing into the hot oil.
👉Add one onion slice and green chillies, and sauté them for a minute.
👉Add carrot, beans and tomato pieces or else veggies of your choice. Sauté well.
👉Add salt, turmeric and ginger garlic paste and fry it until the raw smell goes away.
👉Add 1/2 tsp of chilli powder and 1/2 tsp of Garam masala and fry it.
👉Add soaked moon dal and rice into it and saute for a minute.
👉Add 4 cups of water and mix well. Close lid and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
👉Open the cooker lid after air is gone in it. Add boiling water to it to adjust the consistency.
👉Add coriander leaves and ghee. Serve it got and enjoy!!😊☺️
