No matter your dietary needs, these recipes can work or be adjusted for just about anybody. Take your time and be kind to yourself, do what works for you. For me it’s not about getting the weight off the fastest but changing the way I see food and doing some that I can maintain forever 🙂

Apple Crisp recipe I “used”

Low Calorie Apple Crisp Recipe
550g Apples
30g Becel Light
150g Quick Oats
20g All Purpose Flour
40g Dark Brown Sugar
Cinnamon
Vanilla Extract
Monk fruit Sweetener
Splash of Almond Milk
Lemon Juice
Lil Salt

– Preheat oven to 350
– chop apples and toss with cinnamon, vanilla, lemon juice, 10g brown sugar, few packets of monk fruit sweetener
– combine oats, flour (could probably leave that out) cinnamon, melted becel, splash of almond milk, pinch of salt, remainder of brown sugar, more monk fruit
– add oat mix on top of apples and bake until golden, about 40 mins
– top with ice cream!

My calorie range for the day is 1550, I’m 5’7 with a pretty sedentary life (work from home) . Some days I go over, some under – just trying to set a guideline for myself but I’m not incredibly strict.
