Incredible Steak Sandwich 🥩🔥
Give me this sandwich and I can die a happy man… Cooked everything on my @schwankgrills grill. It’s an absolute beast reaching up to 1500°F in just a few minutes.. excited to cook on it more often!
FULL RECIPE ⬇️
INGREDIENTS
– Ciabatta bread
– Arugula
– 2 ~10 oz Chuckeye Steaks
– Red onion
– Provolone cheese
– Avocado oil
– SPG Rub (Salt Pepper Garlic)
Sauce:
(blend all ingredients together)
– 1/3 cup avocado mayo
– 2 tbsp dijon mustard
– 2 tbsp honey
– 1 tbsp worcestire sauce
– 2 gloves of garlic
– SPG Rub to taste
Note(s): Measurements are estimated, adjust ingredients to your liking.
DIRECTIONS
1. For the steaks, pat them dry then coat in avocado oil and season gensersouly on all sides. Sear them at level 4 on the Schwank Grill for about ~2.5-3.5 min per side until it reaches desired internal temp. I pulled these off at ~130°F internal. Let rest while you prepare everything else.
2. For the onions, slice into ~1/3 inch circles then coat in avocado oil and season on both sides. Grill on level 3 of the swank grill for about |2.5-3.5 min per side until nice and charred.
3. Slice the ciabatta bread in half, then dip it in the drip tray to soak up some of the steak fat & juices. Toast on level 1 until golden brown.
4. Slice up the steak then start building the sandwich. First a layer of sauce, then arugula, steak, onions and cheese. Please back under the grill to melt the cheese, then finish assembling & ENJOY! 🙌🏻
