🤯 I lost 50 lbs eating chocolate cake!
No it wasn’t chocolate cake bought from the store, but it was cake I made at home myself with better healthier ingredients!
I never deprive myself now or while I was losing weight. For me that is one of the key ingredients to making eating healthy sustainable. If I want chocolate cake I eat, I just make it healthier and I couple it with lots of veggies to help fill and satisfy me at meal time. I also love to sneak in some type of bean to add some extra fiber and protein.
Here’s how I make this delicious large mug cake:
1/2 c
Black beans, blended that with 2 tbsp unsweet cocoa powder, 3 tbsp whole wheat flour, 4 tbsp plant milk, 1 tbsp maple syrup, 1/2 tbsp baking powder. Pour in a microwave safe dish. Add a few vegan chocolate chip to top and microwave for 1.5 minutes.
