1 cup sabut moong dal ( 200 g )
½ tso salt and ½ tsp turmeric powder
2 bay leaves
2 inch cinnamon stick

¼ cup oil
¹¼ tsp asafoetida
½ tsp cumin seeds
1 onion ( ½ cup )
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp chilli powder
1 tso kashmiri mirch
⅓ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp salt
2 tomato ( 150 g )
½ tsp garam masala
coriander leaves
green chilli

tadka:
2 tbdp ghee
2 tbsp onion
2 red chilli
