* Ghee – 2 tbsp
* Cumin (jeera) – 1/2 tsp
* Black pepper – 1/4 tsp
* Dalchini (cinnamon) – small piece
* Javitri – 1/2
* Bay leaf – 2
* Elaichi (cardamom) – 2
* Onion – 1 medium size, finely chopped
* Ginger – 1 inch
* Garlic – 7-8 clove, medium size
* Green chilly – 2-3
* Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
* Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
* Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
* Green peas (matar) – 3/4 cup
* Potato – 1 medium size, diced
* Tomato – 1 medium size, chopped
* Methi leaves (fenugreek) – 2.5 cup, chopped
* Dahi (curd) – 1/4 cup
* Vada Kolam rice – 2 cup
* Water – 3 cup + 1/4 cup
* Salt as per the taste
