the Prawns:
Tiger prawns (cleaned & washed)
Fresh grated turmeric root
Salt (to taste)
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp dhaniya (coriander) powder
Corn flour (for coating)
Oil (for shallow frying)
For the Salad:
½ onion (chopped)
2 tomatoes (chopped)
Lettuce
1 avocado (chopped)
Broccoli sprouts
Cooked prawns
For the Dressing:
1 tsp honey
Juice of ½ lime
Salt (to taste)
Black pepper
👩🍳 Method:
Wash and clean the tiger prawns.
Add grated turmeric root, salt, chilli powder, and dhaniya powder.
Add corn flour and mix well to coat evenly.
Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the prawns until golden and cooked through.
In a large bowl, add onion, tomatoes, lettuce, avocado, and broccoli sprouts.
Add the cooked prawns on top.
In a small bowl, mix honey, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
Pour the dressing over the salad and mix gently.
Serve fresh and enjoy!
