Easy high-protein snack for your sweet tooth & perfect if you don’t love the taste of Greek yogurt on its own!
Here’s how to make this layered Greek yogurt snack that tastes like a candy bar:
You’ll need:
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
3 Medjool dates (soak in hot water for ~10 min until soft)
1- 2 tbsp coconut milk (enough to blend the dates)
½ tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (I used 2 squares dark chocolate)
1 tsp coconut oil
Flaky sea salt
How to make it:
1. Add Greek yogurt to a bowl.
2. Blend the soaked dates with vanilla + coconut milk until smooth (this makes the “date caramel”) and add on top of the yogurt.
3. Melt chocolate with coconut oil and pour over the yogurt mixture.
4. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
