Masoor moong dal chilla is a tasty and healthy recipe for breakfast.
Ingredients
1 cup masoor dal
1 cup moong dal
1″ Ginger
Vegetables such as
1/4th cup Capsicum chopped
1/4th cup French beans chopped
1 cup tomatoes chopped
1/4 th coriander leaves chopped
Spices
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
Asafoetida
Salt
Recipe
Wash and soak masoor and moong dal for 1-2 hours
Put in a mixer grinder, add ginger, asafoetida and salt and grind into a smooth paste
Transfer the batter in a bowl and add all the chopped vegetables and spices.
Add water to adjust medium consistency
Now pour 1 laddlefull batter on a hot pan or tawa and apply 1 tsp oil on the sides
Cover and cook
Now turn on another side and cook
Chilla is ready to serve to chutney or sauce
