Recipe
1/2 cup green moong daal
1/2 cup masoor daal
1/2 cup channa daal
1/4 cup urad daal
1/4 cup Toor daal
2 cup rice
1 tablespoon ginger+ greenchilli paste
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoonugar
salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
For Tadka
1 tablespoon oil or ghee
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon jeera
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1/4 teaspoon hing
10 curry leaves
2 green chillies
1 tablespoon sugar
3/4 cup water
( Boil the tadka well after adding water)
Recipe: Wash all the daals and rice 4 to 5 times .Soak in 2 cups water for 5 hours.Then separate the water, and grind with a small quantity of water to a smooth, thick paste. Add lemon juice sugar and mix. Ferment for 10 hours till it rises and tastes sours.Add ginger and chilli paste, salt and mix gently. Steam in greased plates for 15 minutes.
Cool, remove from plates and cut in cubes. Prepare tadka with mentioned ingredients. Pour on the dhokla. Serve with yoghurt and peanut chutney.
Enjoy high protein, High Calcium, high vitamin Dhokla.
Per serving: 6 pieces
