Here is the required ingredients for quinoa ven pongal

Quinoa – 1 cup
Moong dal – 1 cup
Water – 5 to 6 cups
Cashew nuts – 10 to 15
Slit green chilies – 2 to 3
Black peppercorns – 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Finely chopped ginger – 1 tsp
Few curry leaves
Asafoetida/Hing – 2 pinches
Salt – 1 tsp ( or to taste )
Ghee/Clarified butter – 2 tbsp
