Feeling six months pregnant after every meal, even the “healthy” ones, was not cutting it for me.

The brain fog, fatigue, and bloating were nonstop. I finally found out it was SIBO: Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth – where bad bacteria overgrow in the wrong part of your gut and start hijacking your digestion and your entire life.

Healing meant shifting everything, cutting out sneaky trigger foods I never suspected, like garlic and onion (which was a personal tragedy, because I love to cook), and following a low FODMAP diet to calm my gut down.

It’s still very early in my healing and I still have intense side effects and I know it’s going to take plenty time to fully heal my body and brain, even with working out, antibiotics (yes, SIBO sometimes requires traditional medicine!), etc.
