DETAILED RECIPE
Ingredients:
• 6–8 bread slices (edges trimmed)
• 1 tbsp butter
• 1 tbsp maida (all-purpose flour)
• 1/2 glass milk
• 1/2 cup chopped onion
• 1/2 cup chopped capsicum
• 1/2 cup boiled sweet corn
• 1 tbsp chopped garlic
• 1 tbsp chilli flakes
• 1 tbsp oregano
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper to taste
• 1/2 cup pizza pasta sauce
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 cup mozzarella cheese
Recipe:
1. Heat a pan and sauté chopped garlic. Add onion, capsicum, and boiled sweet corn. Cook for a minute.
2. Add chilli flakes, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and cook for 2 more minutes. Your veggie stuffing is ready.
3. In another pan, melt butter and add maida. Cook for a minute, then add milk gradually while stirring to avoid lumps.
4. Add chilli flakes, oregano, and salt. Cook till smooth and creamy — your white sauce is ready.
5. For red sauce, mix pizza pasta sauce with a little water to adjust consistency.
6. Trim bread edges and roll them slightly flat.
7. In a baking dish, spread a layer of red sauce and white sauce. Place bread slices, add stuffing, and top with mozzarella cheese.
8. Repeat layers and finish with cheese on top.
9. Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes or until cheese melts and turns golden.
