The problem is not protein. The problem is how it is being used. The trend of proteinification is pushing protein into every possible food and drink, but more is not always better when there is no structure.

Protein should be consumed in discrete meals, not scattered randomly across the day. When protein is added into everything, it often increases total calories without providing a strong enough signal to support muscle. That leads to inefficiency in how the body uses those nutrients.

The better approach is to prioritize whole foods and structured meals that deliver sufficient protein at once. This supports muscle health without unnecessary caloric excess.

Focus on strategy, not trends.
