Ingredients
• Bread: 4 slices (White, brown, or sourdough)
• Vegetables: Thinly chopped cucumber, tomatoes, onions, capsicum.
• Spreads: Butter (softened) and Green Chutney (cilantro/mint).
• Cheese: Sliced cheddar, mozzarella, or processed cheese.
• Seasoning: Sandwich masala or a mix of chaat masala, black salt, and black pepper.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prep the Bread:
Spread a generous layer of butter on one side of all slices. This creates a moisture barrier so the bread doesn’t get soggy. On two of the slices, spread a layer of green chutney over the butter.
2. Layer the Veggies:
On the chutney side, layer your vegetables in this order for stability:
· capsicum
• Cucumber slices
• Tomato slices
• Onion rings
3. Season and Cheese:
Sprinkle your sandwich masala or chaat masala over the veggies. Place a cheese slice (or a handful of shredded mozzarella) on top to act as “glue” for the top slice of bread.
4. The Grill:
Close the sandwich with the remaining bread slices (buttered side facing up).

On a Tawa/Pan: Place the sandwich on medium heat. Press down with a spatula. Flip once the bottom is golden and crispy (about 2 minutes per side).
5. Finish:
Cut diagonally and serve immediately while the cheese is melty.
