Bagel Sandwich
I didn’t expect making bagels at home to be so practical, honestly 😂
I love adding whatever I feel like to my sandwiches, and the two sandwiches I made with spontaneous ingredients turned out so delicious!!! ðŸ«
– 1.5 cups whole wheat flour
– 1 cup strained yogurt (you may need to add more flour depending on the consistency of the yogurt)
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1 egg
– 1 teaspoon salt
For the topping;
– 1 egg yolk
– Nigella seeds – sesame seeds – poppy seeds – flax seeds – chia seeds – garlic powder (whatever I feel like 😂)
Mix all the ingredients, knead for about 5 minutes after it reaches the desired consistency. Divide the dough into 4 pieces, roll them in your hands, press down, and open the center with your finger. Brush with egg yolk and add the seed mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 190° for 20-25 minutes.
Cheese and Mushroom Bagel Sandwich
– 3 mushrooms
– 1 teaspoon olive oil
– 30 grams grated cheddar cheese
Sauté the mushrooms in olive oil. Mix with the cheddar cheese.
Place between the bagels. Wrap the bagel in baking paper and bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese melts.
Yogurt Sauce and Smoked Turkey Bagel Sandwich
– 2 tablespoons yogurt
– 3 tablespoons grated red cabbage
– 1 teaspoon olive oil
Mix all ingredients well.
Add yogurt sauce, 2 slices of smoked turkey, and lettuce between the bagels.
