Granola bars are great to keep on hand for traveling or whenever hunger strikes!! Homemade granola bars are so delicious , healthy and easy to make.

Ingredients-
2 cups Rolled Oats
1 cup Rice Crispies or cereals
1/2 cup halved Almonds
1/2 cup roughly chopped walnuts
1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins
2 tbsp Clarified Butter or Ghee
1/3 cup Honey
1/3 cup crushed Jaggery or Gur
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon

How to make it-

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Spread the oats , almonds, walnuts evenly across a baking tray. Toast it in the oven until browned, about 10 minutes. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.

2.Mix clarified butter , Jaggery and heat it on low flame until jaggery melts. Remove from heat and stir honey, vanilla extract into it.

3. In a large bowl add the oats mixture, salt and cinnamon, the honey mixture, rice cereals, cranberries , raisins and mix well.

4. Pour the granola into a greased pan and, with a spatula press the granola evenly into the pan.

5. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the granola is golden brown and set.

6. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for about an hour and then Cut them into Bars.

7. Store in air tight containers and munch on it for around 2 weeks..
