Recipe
1 Cup Besan (Chickpea Flour)
1 Scoop Soy Protein Isolate (you can you any unflavoured protein powder)
⅓ Cup + 1 tbsp Ghee (Protein needs that extra fat!)
5-6 tbsp Powdered Monk Fruit 1:1 sugar substitute or any other sweetener of choices (Adjust to taste)
½ tsp Cardamom (Crucial for the aroma)
Tip:
The Water Splash: Sprinkle 1 tbsp of water directly into the pan. It will sputter and steam-this “fluffs” the mixture and helps release any remaining raw soy odors through the steam. Keep stirring until the moisture evaporates.
Cool & Sweeten: Turn off the heat and transfer the mixture to a bowl. Wait until it is lukewarm (this is very important!). Once cooled down, mix in the powdered monk fruit, cardamom, and roasted almonds.
Shape: Roll the mixture into 7 equal-sized ladoos.
