My Low Calorie High Protein
Caramel Apple French Toast:
(Meal-prep version 20 slices)
~65 calories 8 g protein per slice (assuming you use same bread & make 20 slices)
Ingredients:
• 20 slices Keto Bread (I use Natures Own)
• 333g almond milk
• 307g egg whites
• 4g vanilla extract
• 1g cinnamon
• 5 g White sugar replacement(Recommend Swerve but any will do)
• Confection/Powdered sugar replacement (Recommend Swerve)
• Spray oil
• Sugar-free syrup
• Fat Free Whipped Cream
• Sugar-free Caramel (I use A serving of Hersheys)
• Sugar-free Apple Pie Filling (or make your own)
Mix together:
• Almond milk
• Egg whites
• Vanilla extract
• Cinnamon
• White Sugar Replacement
Then:
• Spray pan with oil (or parchment paper if using oven)
• Dip each slice of bread in mixture for ~1 second per side
Stovetop:
• Medium heat
• Cook ~2.5–3.5 mins per side & Enjoy
Oven Method (best for meal prep):
• Preheat oven to 425°
• Use PARCHMENT PAPER (not foil or you’ll be very sad lol)
• Bake 9–10 mins
• Flip slices
• Bake another 4 mins & Enjoy
Toppings:
Put Sugar Free Syrup, Sugar Free Caramel, Powdered Sugar Replacement & 1 Serving of Diced Sugar Free Apple Pie Filling on Top & Enjoy!
