Pickle making is an ancient tradition in Pakistan & India,we all have grown up eating delicious, crunchy and tangy pickles made by our mothers and grandmothers. No meal is complete without them.
Today! In this video,We are making carrots, radishes and green chilies Pickle with with my grandma style.
Pakistani/Indian pickles are mostly made using mustard oil. It enhances the flavor of all the spices and works really well as a preservative.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Mustard oil is very bitter in taste if used directly. So to reduce the bitterness, we preheat the oil before use. We heat it in the pan for 3 to 4 mins and leave it to cool down. Then this oil becomes ready to use.
