A more blood sugar friendly banana bread recipe 🍌✨
And honestly… even though I don’t hype it up enough in the video, it actually turned out really good. 😅
Especially once it cooled down, the banana flavor becomes sweeter and more balanced, so I personally wouldn’t even add extra sweetness anymore.
This banana bread is made without refined sugar or gluten, and thanks to the protein, healthy fats and fiber, it gives more stable energy than traditional banana bread.

Ingredients (updated version):
3 ripe bananas
2 eggs
60 ml olive oil or melted butter
1 cup/120 ml full fat Greek yoghurt
(For sweetet version 2 tbs honey or maple syrup)
1 cup/120 ml almond flour
1 cup/120 ml oats
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp cardamomme
1 tsp ginger powder
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt

Blend everything together.
Pour into parchment paper-lined glass containers (21 x 15) and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 minutes.
Add chocolate chunks and walnuts on top.
Pack with you for a cozy picnic 🤍
