Healthy Chocolate Toast
Ingredients
* 100 g curd (yogurt)
* ½ tsp vanilla essence
* 2 tsp sunflower oil
* 50–100 ml milk (adjust as needed)
* 3 tsp jaggery powder
* 4 tbsp ragi flour
* 4 tbsp whole wheat flour
* 2 tsp cocoa powder
* ½ tsp baking soda
* ½ tsp baking powder
* Butter or oil for greasing the sandwich maker
Method
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the curd until smooth. Add vanilla essence, sunflower oil, milk, and jaggery powder. Mix well until the jaggery dissolves completely.
2. Add the ragi flour, whole wheat flour, and cocoa powder. Mix everything together to form a smooth batter. Adjust the consistency by adding a little more milk if required.
3. Once the batter is smooth and lump-free, add the baking soda and baking powder. Gently mix until well combined.
4. Grease the sandwich maker lightly with butter or oil and preheat it.
5. Pour the batter into the sandwich maker and cook on low heat until both sides are cooked through and lightly golden.
6. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious, guilt-free healthy chocolate toast
