Healthy Banana bread
Few things about this ol loaf:
Bread does not make fat.
There is no single food or ingredient that makes you fat.
Carbohydrates do not make you fat.
There is no single macronutrient that makes you fat.
Excess calories over time will make you fat.
What you hear most often is “Well, all I did was cut out carbs and I lost ___ pounds.”
What really happened is you either lost weight because you’re not retaining as much water. Or you actually lost fat because you were eating less CALORIES.
Cut carbs = less calories
More focused on diet = less calories
Less junk food = less carbs + less fat = less calories
Here’s some nerdy stuff on fats and carbs
Basically stating that if you kept protein levels the same between a low carb and a low fat group, there would be no difference in the amount of fat lost.
So eat your protein and split your carbs and fats however you prefer as long as it’s under your total calorie goal.
Alllllll that to say, eat the damn bread!!
