Welcome to pt.5 of this series! Ever feel snackish but don’t know what to snack on? If so, then don’t worry ’cause I’ve got you with these healthy snack ideas: Whole Wheat Banana Muffins & Brownie Cookies. It’s healthy(ish) because we’ll be using whole wheat flour and a reduced amount of sugar.
INGREDIENTS
Whole Wheat Banana Muffins:
3 bananas
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
a pinch of salt
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
Bake at 350 degrees F for ~20 min
Brownie Cookies:
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
Bake at 356 degrees F for ~10 min
