~~~~~Italian Sausage=That is what is for Dinner!~~~~~
This meal is so easy and perfect for busy nights of the week-we grill summer, fall, winter and spring. This literally only took me 20 minutes to make after adding your favorite sides!
Ingredients:
1 pound spicy Italian sausage
1 medium green pepper-sliced in strips
1 medium red pepper-sliced in strips
1 medium onion-cut into thin wedges
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fennel seed
2 tablespoons of water
4 sub buns, toasted
1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
Cook your sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 15 minutes or till done. Next, add pepper, onions, garlic, fennel, and water. Cover your skillet and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and place sausage in sub bun. Now top with vegetables and cheese.
