It’s healthy whole wheat/ atta, no eggs banana bread/ cake.
Ingredients:
Whole wheat/ atta 1 1/2 cup
Butter or oil 1/2 cup
Banana 3 medium size
Jaggery/ sugar/ honey 3/4 cup or you can also add dates paste.
Milk 1/4 cup
Baking powder 2 teaspoon
Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon (optional)
Any nuts, chocolate chip or blueberries 1/2 cup(optional)
Preheat the oven to 350F or 180 C
Bake the cake around 55- 60 minutes.
After 55 minutes insert the toothpick to check if the cake done. when toothpick comes out clean cake is done, remove from the oven and cool completely before you slice the cake.
Stovetop instructions:
If you are doing on the stovetop follow the instructions below.
Preheat the pan with closed lid for about 5-6 minutes on medium flame.
After preheat, place the cake pan inside the preheated pan, close the lid and cook in a low to medium flame for about 40 to 50 minutes, insert the toothpick and check, if it’s came out clean cake is done, if not cook for another 5 minutes.
