INGREDIENTS for Quinoa Salad recipe:
– 1 Cup of quinoa
– 1 Pomegranate cleaned
– 1/8 Cup of fresh mint, cleaned, finely chopped
– 1/8 Cup of fresh cilantro, cleaned, finely chopped
– 1 tablespoon of roasted flaked almonds
– The zest of a lemon
– 1 avocado
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
– ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
– ¼ teaspoon of Salt
– ¼ teaspoon of Black pepper

PREPARATION of Quinoa Salad recipe:
– Rinse the quinoa in a colander under the tap until the water runs clear.
– Cook the quinoa according to the package directions.
– Put the cooked quinoa in the colander and let it cool.
– Then add the herbs, pomegranate seeds, slivered almonds. Make a sauce with the zest, lemon juice, garlic powder and olive oil, salt and pepper and mix it with the quinoa.
– Reserve this salad in the refrigerator so that the aromas of the herbs are diffused, and 30 minutes before serving, take it out of the cold and add slices of avocado for decoration.
