• Excellent source of Iron and Dietary fibres
Ingredients:
• 1 tsp Oil
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• Curry leaves
• A pinch of Hing
• 1/2 cup Finely chopped Tomato
• 1 tsp Finely chopped Green chilli
• 1 tsp Garlic paste
• 1 tsp Coriander powder
• 1 tsp Garam masala
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• 2 cups chopped Spinach
• 1 cup Boiled Moong dal
• Warm water
• Salt to taste
Method:
• Heat up oil in a pot.
• Add mustard seeds and let them pop up.
• Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
• Add curry leaves, hing, tomato and green chili.
• Mix well and cook for a minute. Add garlic paste, coriander
powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and red chili powder.
• Mix well and fry for about a minute.
• Add spinach and mix well. Cook for about 3-4 minutes.
• Add boiled moong dal and warm water.
• Add salt, mix well and cook for about 5 minutes.
• Dal palak is already.
