I am very excited since I am back with the recipe videos after such a long time. Ahhh….it feels so very good. This is the sandwich recipe which we tried recently and this is very delicious. Plus it is protein rich, has the goodness of chickpeas, avocado, other vegetables, seeds, herbs and spices.

You can even make this chickpea avocado sandwich using mayonnaise or curd and replace avocado but since I avoid using dairy, I make it with avocados or my homemade mayonnaise which is absolutely dairy free and vegan and so flavourful. You must give it a try.

This breakfast recipe is rich in protein and good fat and is just one tasty weight loss recipe. Must try for people who are into weight loss and want some high protein rich breakfast or any meal.

Ingredients List: (makes 6-8 sandwiches)

Chickpea: 1 Cup (240 gm approx.)
Avocado (large): ½ piece
Green Onion – 3 stalks
GratedCarrot: 1/4 Cup
Red Capsicum: 1/2 Cup
Jalapeno: a few pieces

Salt: to taste
Lemon Juice: 1 – 2 Tsp
Mixed herb seasoning: 1 Tsp
Black Pepper: 1/4 Tsp
Roasted Sunflower seeds: 1 Tbsp

Bread Slices

Toppings:

Lettuce
