Ingredients-
Chickpeas – 150 grams
Bread slices – 5
Grated Cheese – as per taste
Salt – as per taste ( 1 tsp)
Chopped Garlic – 2-3cloves
Chopped Onion – 1 small
Chopped Tomato – 1 small
Kashmiri Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin crushed – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Green chillies – as per taste
Coriander leaves – as per taste
Black salt – 1/4 tsp
Chaat masala/ Amchur powder – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 1 tsp
Butter – to spread on bread
Sauce of choice ( sriracha) for garnish

Method –
Soak the chickpeas overnight and then boil until they are soft. (Use canned chickpeas if preferred)
Take them and mash coarsely.
In a pan, heat oil and add the chopped garlic, onion.
Add salt and Fry for a min.
Now add the chopped tomatoes and fry.
Add the crushed cumin, turmeric and kashmiri red chilli powder.
Mix well
Add the chickpeas, add chat masala, black salt and mix everything well.
Add splash of water in between.
Finally add the green chillies and coriander leaves. Grate some cheese, this gives a binding (Use boiled potato as substitute)
Mix everything well and Keep aside.
Take bread slices and spread butter and lightly toast on a pan.
Now take spoonful of the chickpeas mixture and spread on the bread.
Top with some grated cheese and cover until the cheese melts.
Garnish with chopped coriander and sauce of choice.
