Ingredients

– Green Moong Dal 250grams/1cup

– Raw Rice 80grams or 1/3cup

– Green Chilli 3

– Ginger 2(1inch) pieces

– Coriander Leaves Few

– Curry Leaves Few

– Jeera/Cumin Seeds 1tsp

– Salt to Taste

– Hing/Asafoetida 1/4tsp

– Water

– Oil

– Chopped Onion

– Grated Carrot

Method

1) Soak green moon dal and rice for 4-5 hours.

2) In a mixer jar add soaked green moong dal, rice, ginger, green chilli, coriander leaves, curry leaves, jeera/cumin seeds and some water. Grind into smooth batter.

3) In a mixing bowl pour grinded batter, salt to taste and hing and mix well to dosa batter consistency, add water if required.

4) Heat a pan, pour a laddleful batter and spread evenly like dosa. Sprinkle teaspoon of oil around dosa and cook until crispy and done.

5) Pour a laddleful batter , spread evenly(let it be thick) and sprinkle some chopped onion and grated carrot and oil(1teaspoon). Flip and cook both sides.

6) Serve hot with ginger chutney or any chutney.
