Amla is extremely beneficial for health. This method of Amla rice enables us to consume Amla in a tasty way without losing much of its ingredients. Usiri Pulihora Recipe is:

1. Cool 120gm of rice. By the time rice cooks,
2. Cut 3 big Amla ( Pedda Usirikaya) and grind into powder like consistency without adding any water.
3. Take a pan and add 4tbsp of oil
4. Prepare tadka in Sim Flame.
5. Add 4tbsp of peanuts + 2tbsp of Chana Dal + 2tbsp of Urad Dal + 1tbsp of Mustard seeds + One dried red chilli + 3 curry leaves + 3 sliced green chillies and sauté them slowly for 5min.
6. Add Amla ( Usiri ) powder ( Podi ) + Salt + 1/2 tbsp turmeric. Mix well and cover it with a lid for 2 min.
7. Now, switch off the flame and add cooked rice and then 1/2 lime juice and mix thoroughly.

That’s it!! Tasty healthy Quick One Pot Amla Rice ( Usirikaya Pulihora) is ready to serve.
