FOOD + NUTRITION
It is hard to navigate diet and diet culture.
Not only are there too many diets to choose from – Paleo, Vegetarian, Vegan, Carnivore, Keto, Low-Carb, High Carb, Low-Fat, Intermittent Fasting …to name just a few! There are also hundreds of celebrity diets, detoxes, cleanses, supplements …AND an endless stream of fad diets to choose from…meanwhile, you’re just trying to live your life, be healthy, and not become totally obsessed over food in an unhealthy way.
I have 100% been on that roller coaster and it’s led me to a whole career dedicated to finding the simplest, most effective way for us to reach our goals.
The bad news is …THERE IS NO ONE SIZE FITS ALL!
(I can tell you from personal experience and the experience of the thousands of people I’ve worked with that everyone will respond differently to different types of diets)…
The good news…THERE ARE SOME UNIVERSAL TRUTHS when it comes to nutrition and how a human body responds.
The trick is finding the approach that is right for you! It is my mission to educate on those universal nutrition truths AND help you find the approach that fits your lifestyle and the physical body you’ve got!
Single mom of picky kids with no time for meal prep AND belly fat to lose? I got you!!!
Retired and can’t seem to get rid of that spare tire? I got you!!!
Trying to gain mass but can’t gain weight? I got you!!!
I promise that no matter how impossible your situation has seemed up to now there IS a solution.
Among the most successful approaches are Flexible Dieting (Also known as IIFYM or If It Fits Your Macros)…BUT counting calories, protein, fat and carbohydrate takes time and can put some people in a bad headspace. …not to mention figuring out how many grams to get and which foods have what.
There is so much misinformation out there that it can make your head spin!
This is why I create simple systems for my students to follow that do not require counting macronutrients and calories because I’ve already done that for you. That way you can focus on the foods you love rather than spending your time and mental energy trying to figure out what you can eat or missing your favorite foods.
This video is a piece of ONE of those systems. To get access to the whole picture, (meal plans, online classes and more) join our community on Patreon at www.thenerdgym.com
