chicken 250 gm (1 pao)
oil 1 tbsp
ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
ready made tikka masala 1 tbsp
garam masala 1 pinch
lemon juice 6 to 8 drops
yogurt (low fat) 1/2 cup
1 small onion and 2 medium tomato paste ( almost 1 cup)
dry roasted cumin and coriander pwd 1/2 tbsp
dry fenugreek leaves 2 pinch
cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
ginger julienne 1 tsp
green chilies 2
coriander chopped 1 tbsp
METHOD :
first marinate chicken with G.G paste,tikka masala , lemon juice and yogurt.
then add 1 tbsp oil in a pot and add cumin.
wait for crackle and the add tomato and onion paste.
cook it 2 to 3 minutes to reduce the liquid.
then add dry roasted cumin and coriander pwd and chicken with all the marination.
mix well and let it cook 12 to 15 minutes.
after that cook it nicely to evaporated all the liquid.
then add half amount of ginger,coriander and 2 chilies.
along with dry fenugreek leaves and garam masala pwd.
mix gently and simmer 10 minutes more.
mean while burn a piece of coal.
make a foil cup and put it in the middle of the pot.
add burnt coal.drizzle few drops of oil and cover the lid immediately.
wait 3 to 5 minutes then garnish with remaining ginger and coriander
serve with a bowl of fresh salad and 2 bran bread slices.

tikka karahi 1/2 cup dried or 2/3 cup liquidy gravy 327 cal
2 slices of bran bread 130 cal
1 bowl of fresh salad with dressing 100 cal
total = 557 cal
