Cranberry Orange Smoothie Recipe(with substitutions for no banana) š
Here how Iām making my favorite winter smoothie āļø
* 1Ā ripe bananaĀ medium size, peeled (or 1/3 cup yogurt + 1 Medjool date or dash of maple syrup)
* 1Ā orangeĀ medium size, peeled
* 1 1/4Ā cupsĀ nondairy milk
* 1/3Ā cupĀ cranberry sauceĀ (or frozen cranberries + 2 Medjool dates)
* 1/4Ā cupĀ rolled oats
* 1/2Ā tspĀ ground cinnamon
* 1/4Ā tspĀ ground gingerĀ (optional, but recommended)
* 1/4Ā tspĀ ground nutmegĀ (optional, but recommended)
* 2Ā ice cubesĀ (optional)
1. Add banana, orange, milk, cranberry sauce, rolled oats, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg to a blender.
2. Blend on high until smooth. If desired, add a couple ice cubes for a frothier, cooler texture.
3. Pour into two glasses. Feel free to garnish with fresh cranberries if you have them!
4. Optionally, swirl a TBS of cranberry sauce into each glass for a tie-dye effect. Enjoy right away.
