Healthy Crispy 3 Flavour Baked Cheese Balls (No Fry)

Ingredients
Dough
2 cups whole wheat flour (240 g)
1 tsp salt (6 g)
½ tsp black pepper powder (1 g)
½ tsp baking powder (2 g)
3 cheese cubes, grated (75 g)
2 tbsp butter, room temperature (30 g)
¾ cup chilled milk (180 g – add gradually)
Flavours
1 tsp oregano (1 g)
¼ tsp turmeric powder (0.5 g)
1 tsp peri peri seasoning (3 g)
Coating
2 tbsp flour (16 g)
4 tbsp water (60 g – to make slurry)
1 tbsp white & black sesame seeds (10 g)
2 tbsp sooji / semolina (16 g)
½–1 tsp peri peri seasoning (1–2 g)
¼ tsp turmeric powder (0.5 g)
½ tsp oregano (0.5 g)
1 tsp oil (5 g)
Instructions
1. In a bowl mix whole wheat flour, salt, pepper, baking powder, grated cheese and butter.
Add chilled milk gradually and knead into a smooth dough.
2. Divide the dough into 3 parts.
3. Add oregano + turmeric in first part, peri peri in second part, and keep the third plain.
Roll dough into small balls.
4. Mix flour and water to make slurry.
5. Dip balls in slurry and coat:
6. Plain balls → sesame seeds
Peri peri balls → sooji + peri peri mixture
Oregano turmeric balls → sooji + turmeric + oregano mixture
7. Place on baking tray.
Bake at 180°C for 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy.
