Ragi is such a nutritional food for babies. It has high level of protein,calcium and minerals. It has lots of iron and a good mix of amino acids. It is a complete wonder food.
Ragi is very healthy for babies, it is filling and help your baby gain weight in a healthy way. Few things you have to remember before making this.

The consistency of the porridge which you make totally depends on you. You can make it too runnier and pour it bottles and feed your baby or make it little thicker and feed your baby using a spoon.
Cook ragi properly. If you didn’t cook it properly, it may cause constipation.
It is gluten-free, low in fat, absorbable and easily digestible. Ragi porridge serves as one of the best weaning food preparations. You can introduce it to your baby once she completes six months.
Ragi is a great source of iron making it beneficial for individuals with low haemoglobin levels. It is good for the stomach and for good digestion. … Low in fat and gluten free, ragi is easy to digest. It is therefore, given as first food to babies in the form of ragi porridge.
