The possible contamination means the affected products are considered unsafe to eat.

Arla Foods has begun recalling the products, with notices being displayed in shops that sell the affected varieties.

The notices explain why the products have been recalled and advise customers what action to take.

What should customers do if they have bought an affected pudding?

Anyone who has purchased an Arla Protein Pudding with one of the listed best-before dates is being advised not to eat it.

Instead, customers should return the product to the retailer where it was purchased for a full refund.

Shoppers should check both the flavour and best-before date printed on the packaging.
