Idli Batter

Ingredients:
Idli rice/ normal rice – 1 cup
Mash Dal/ urad dal – 1/2 cup
Fenugreek seed – 1/2 tsp
Salt
Water

(readymade batter can be used too. Check ingredients and shelf life should be less)

Wash and soak rice, urad dal and fenugreek seeds overnight.
Add salt and Grind to a fine paste (semi thick).
Keep it in warm and dark place for 8 hours or more for fermentation.
