Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
Black Chana- 1 cup (200 gm)
Oil- 2 tbsp
Onion- 1 medium size (sliced)
Tomato- 1 medium size (diced)
Chilli- 2 nos. (chopped)
Ginger- 1 inch (chopped)
Turmeric Powder- 1/4th tsp
Cumin Powder- 1/4th tsp
Coriander Powder- 1/4th tsp
Salt- as per taste
Lemon Juice- 1 tbsp
Optional: Coriander leaves for garnishing
Steps:
1) Soaked black chana overnight.
2) Next day boil black chana with 1 tsp salt.
3) Drain water from it.
4) Heat oil in a pan.
5) Add ginger and fry for 20 seconds.
6) Add onion and fry till it becomes pink.
7) Add boiled black chana and fry for 3 minutes.
8) Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Fry for 30 seconds.
9) Add chillies, tomato, and salt as per taste. Fry for 3-4 minutes.
10) Add lemon juice.
11) Garnish with coriander leaves.
