Eating snacks is wonderful, but it can be hard to find healthy SNACKS options that you want to eat, especially if you’re trying to care for weight. Good SNACK IDEAS for your day!

I give you 2 delicious recipes to enjoy at any time of the day:

► Pickle Rolls With Turkey

Cucumber or zucchini: just cut or peel the thin strips of any of the vegetables with a mandolin or a vegetable peeler. You want them to be thick enough so they can hold your fillings and so they don’t fall apart once you roll.

Spreads: you can use your favorite hummus or pesto. I chose pesto but I also made a spicy version of hummus that was FANTASTIC. For a party, I recommend serving both! Guests go crazy over these little bites.

Fillers: I had a lot of GO Veggie without lactose! Slices of mozzarella in my refrigerator, so I threw some of those in cucumber rolls to add flavor and protein! Next time I could try their Pepper Jack slices because I firmly believe that almost all my meals need a little kick.

I added turkey to these, but I could also leave them vegetarians by adding additional vegetables of choice, such as carrot strips, peppers, etc. (I used red pepper and spinach!)

Finally, what you should do is roll them up and secure them with a toothpick. SO EASY! Just remember not to load them with too many things or you won’t be able to roll them up.

These are an excellent snack, an early preparation snack or even a recipe you can make with children by allowing them to choose their fillings.

► Boiled Egg and Avocado

This bowl of egg and avocado combines hard-boiled eggs with creamy avocado slices for a super healthy, fast meal loaded with protein, healthy fats and fiber, but also low in carbohydrates.

Boil the eggs, the spades, and the avocados. Add some chopped red onion and pepper slices. Generously shake some sea salt and ground pepper on top and enjoy!
