FIN’s emergency meals program is about more than nutrition—it’s about community connection and caring. When volunteers recently delivered meals to isolated seniors, they found two of them on the floor, unable to get up. Had the seniors not had meals delivered, it’s possible they may not have received the help they needed in time.
Kerrie, the manager of our Food Business Incubator, shares the inspiration behind our COVID-19 response, who’s making it happen, and how it is contributing to the wellbeing of isolated seniors.
