Ngayon, tayo ay magluluto ng isang healthy recipe, at ito ay sa pamamagitan ng pagluluto ng labong o ang bamboo shoot. Ang ating labong recipe ay dinagdagan ng green-leafy na gulay katulad ng mga dahon ng pechay at spinach, kasama na rin ang ating karne na manok para pampalasa.
For this video, we’re gonna cook a healthy recipe featuring bamboo shoot, we also added vegetables such as leaves of cabbage and spinach in particular. Also, we added the chicken meat to add flavor to our bamboo shoot recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
– 1 kilo BAMBOO SHOOTS/ LABONG
– 5 bunches SPINACH LEAVES (chopped)
– 3 bunches CABBAGE LEAVES/ DAHON NG PECHAY (chopped)
– 1 kilo CHICKEN (chopped)
– 1 whole GARLIC (minced)
– 1 whole ONION (chopped)
– 1 tsp BLACK PEPPER*
– 5 pcs LONG CHILIS/ SILING HABA
– 3 tbsp VEGETABLE OIL
– 4 tbsp FISH SAUCE/ PATIS
– 3 cups WATER*
– 1 tbsp SEASONING (AJINOMOTO)
*-not mentioned, but used for our recipe.
PROCEDURE:
– APPLY THE VEGETABLE OIL IN HOT PAN.
– SAUTE GARLIC FIRST UNTIL BROWN, THEN SAUTE ONIONS.
– ADD THE CHICKEN, SIMMER UNTIL ITS JUICE IS RELEASED
– ADD THE FISH SAUCE, BAMBOO SHOOTS, BLACK PEPPER, AND WATER. STIR OCCASIONALLY.
– COVER AND SIMMER AGAIN FOR 5 MINUTES OR UNTIL BAMBOO SHOOTS ARE SOFTEN.
– ADD THE CHOPPED CABBAGE, AND SPINACH THEN MIX AND COVER UNTIL SOFTEN.
– ADD LONG CHILIS, SEASONING THEN COVER UNTIL SOFTEN.
– READY TO SERVE.
