These plant-based recipes are full of healthy fats and are delicious! There are countless variations of every recipe to suit your child’s tastes and these pair well with a variety of foods. We almost always have frozen peas, avocado, nori sheets, & fresh berries on hand. Martin has a green smoothie everyday and we don’t pair anything with it because there is such a plethora & variety of healthy foods already included. Pairing suggestions for the other foods include:
cocomond dough + (nori or applesauce)
chia seed pudding + berry
hummus + (peas or nori)
date energy balls + berries

Dr. Brown’s sippy cup:

Chia Seed Pudding Recipe:
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 cup plant based milk
2 Tbl maple syrup (optional)
allspice

Date Energy Balls Recipe:
1 pkg of dates
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup cashew butter

Hummus Recipe:
1 cup chickpeas
1/3 cup tahini
juice of 1 lemon
1/3 cup water
1 1/2 tsp cumin
