For MUNG BEAN SPROUTS SALAD:-
Ingredients:-
Sprouts- 1cup
Cucumber- 1 chopped
Onion- 1/2 finely chopped
Tomato- 1/2 chopped
Green chilli- 1-2
Coriander leaves- handful chopped
Boiled potatoes- 1/2 cut into cubes (optional)
Lemon juice- 1/8
Roasted cumin powder- 1/2tsp
Salt- according to taste
Process:-
1. Take the mung bean sprouts and blanch them in boiling water for just 2mins (not more than that). Take them out and strain.
2. Take all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and give it a nice mix. Serve.
For MUNG BEAN SPROUTS STIR FRY:-
Ingredients:-
Sprouts- 1cup
Oil- 2tsp
Potato- 1/2 cut into cubes
Onion- 1/2 chopped
Bell peppers- 1tbsp each chopped
Green chilli- 1-2
Salt- according to taste
Black pepper powder- 1/2tsp
Process:-
1. In a frying pan, take oil. The whole cooking will be in medium flame. Once it is heated, fry the potatoes until light brown.
2. Then add onion, bell peppers and green chilli. Fry for 2mins.
3. Now add the sprouts, salt and black pepper powder and stir fry for just 2mins(not more than that). Serve.
