If you are familiar with me, then you will know already that I absolutely love Methi.

Fenugreek greens have a distinct bitter smell and taste to them that makes them perfect for pulaos, dals, sabzis and of course flat breads.

Methi paratha makes for a healthy breakfast as it brings together the health benefits of wheat flour, chickpea flour and most importantly – fresh fenugreek greens. Methi is a rich source of calcium and you must include Methi and Palak in your diet as often as possible.

A rich plant based diet like ours keeps us beaming with light and love. Plants harness the power of nature and boost our system from within, when prepared lovingly. What we eat, we emit. 😉 So for the sake of being our own personal beacon, give this recipe a try.

Here’s a quick look at the ingredients:

1) Wheat flour – 2 1/2 cups
2) Besan – 1/2 cup
3) Fenugreek leaves / Methi – 1 bunch
4) Oil – 1 tbsp. and more for baking
5) Red chilli powder – 1 tsp.
6) Coriander powder – 1 tsp.
7) Cumin powder – 1 tsp.
8) Hing – 1/2 tsp.
9) Water as required
10) Salt to taste
