A healthy snack for teatime
Recipe:
Ingredients:
Chicken 3/4 cup
Salt 1/4 tsp
Water 1/2 cup
Parsley 2 tbsp
Capsicum 1 small
Bread slices 14
For white sauce:
Oil 1 tbsp
All purpose flour 2 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Black pepper 3/4 tsp
Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
Milk 1 cup
Sugar 1 tsp
Instructions:
First boil chicken with salt and water. Let cool and shred the chicken. Chop parsley and capsicum.
Now make white sauce. In a pan add oil and all purpose flour. Cook for 2 minutes. Now add salt, black pepper and garlic paste. Add milk and sugar and cook until thickens.
Now mix all the sauce and other things. Filling os ready. Trim edges of bread slices and layer mayonnaise. Its optional. Then spread 1 tbsp filling and place another slice. Cut and serve warm or chilled.
