Hello friends, today I am here with one of my favorite and one of the best breakfast, it is a type of dosa. Usually, dosa is made from rice and urad dal (white gram dal), but rice contains high carbohydrates and low fiber, so in place of rice I added jowar in this dosa. And I made this dosa from jowar and urad dal, No rice added. Jowar is also known as sorghum/great millets, jowar is loaded with proteins and fiber. Very healthy grain.
Those who are overweight try to take millets in place of rice and wheat, as millets are loaded with fiber(especially soluble and insoluble), insoluble fiber helps to prevent from constipation and soluble fiber helps to control the blood sugar, control cholesterol levels as well as helps in weight loss and other vitamins and mineral and it is gluten free also. So those who are looking for gluten-free recipes, they can also add this breakfast in their weight loss diet plan, for better results. This breakfast can be taken by those who have issues of PCOD/PCOS, thyroid, diabetes, high cholesterol issues. Kids will also love this recipe.
In the single jowar dosa will get 96 calories,4.04g protein high in proteins and 4.47g fiber very high in fiber also.

Jowar dosa
Serving-10
Cooking time-10 min
Ingredients-
1-Jowar (sorghum/great millet)-1 cup (200g)
2-Urad dhal (white gram)-1/3 cup (80g)
3-Methi dana (fenugreek seeds)-2g
4-Lauki (bottle gourd)-250g
5-Onion-70g
6-Coriander leaves-as per taste
7-cumin powder (jeera powder)- ½ tsp
8-Salt- as per taste
9-Oil-10ml
Cooking process-
1-Take a bowl add 1 cup jowar and 1/3 cup urad dal (white gram dhal),1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds.
2-Mix well and wash it 2-3 times.
3-Add enough water and soak it for 8-10 hours.
4-Then wash it again and grind it a s a fine paste.
5-Pour it in a bowl mix well and cover it.
6-Leave it overnight for fermentation.
7-Next morning our jowar dosa batter is properly fermented.
8-To make this healthier we will add some vegetables here.
9-Take bottle gourd, wash and peel and grate it.
10- Take onion and coriander leaves, wash and chop finely.
11- Add chopped vegetables into jowar dosa batter, add salt, cumin powder and mix well.
12-Heat the dosa pan, grease with oil.
13-Take 1 spoon full of vegetables jowar dosa batter, spread it on tawa.
14-Add a few drops of oil top of the jowar dosa, cook well both sides.
15-Our healthy dosa is ready to serve.
We can take 2-3 dosa with little chutney during breakfast time.
