recipe :
1 cup red rice
(wash 3 to 4 times and soak in water for an hour .pressure cook it for 8 whistles and keep aside )
1 tsp ghee
1 cup mixed veggies (capsicum,carrots, french beans and green peas )
1 onion finely chopped
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 cup coriander leaves chopped
2 bay leaves
pinch of cardamon powder
2 green chillies finely chopped
powder spices
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp tikka masala
salt to taste
juice of half lemon.
1 tsp cumin seeds
pinch of hing
in a pan. add ghee and heat it add jeera and hing let it crackle add bay leaves and onion cook and add cardamon powder veggies and ginger garlic paste .cover and cook veggies and then add salt and powdered spices.
mix add lemon juice and cooked red rice. mix all well and add coriander leaves .cover and cook for 10 minutes serve hot.
